The Praise Music and Video Awards (PMVA) is committed to recognising, rewarding, and supporting outstanding gospel music talent while encouraging sustainable growth, professionalism, entrepreneurship, and excellence within the gospel music industry.
The total prize package for the Artist of the year shall be valued at ₦1,000,000 (One Million Naira Only) and shall be divided into two components as follows:
The sum of ₦500,000 (Five Hundred Thousand Naira Only) shall be awarded to the winner as a business investment fund intended to support the artist’s professional development, financial growth, and long-term sustainability.
The cash prize is specifically intended to be invested in a viable business or income-generating venture that can help the artist develop an additional source of income and build a more sustainable career. The business may be related to music or another suitable venture, subject to PMVA’s review and approval of the proposed business plan.
House of Ati shall undertake the production in consultation with the winning artist and in accordance with an agreed creative direction, production schedule, and scope of work. The production may include relevant pre-production planning, filming, and post-production services, subject to the approved production budget and the parties’ agreed deliverables.
The winner shall cooperate with House of Ati throughout the production process by providing the necessary music, creative input, permissions, materials, and other reasonable requirements. The production schedule, deliverables, revision limits, release arrangements, and applicable usage rights shall be communicated and agreed upon before production begins.
The production sponsorship shall be valued at ₦500,000, making up the second part or the total prize package. Any additional production requirements, upgrades, or expenses beyond the approved scope shall require separate agreement and shall not automatically become an obligation of PMVA or House of Ati.
